Absentee Bid

I wish to place the following confidential bid[s] with LEVIS Fine Art Auctions for their sale.

I understand that LEVIS Fine Art Auctions will, to the best of their ability, attempt to purchase the following lots for me at the lowest possible price, up to the maximum amount specified below, or where indicated, plus one incremental bid*. *Plus One Bid will allow us to bid on your behalf up to and including 10% of your bid i.e. $3000 plus one bid - $3300. Please feel free to phone the office or send us an email if you have any concerns about how we handle absentee bids. We are more than happy to answer your questions about any aspect of the bidding procedure.

The dollar amount entered below is for the hammer price only - a Buyers Premium of 15% per lot up to and including $50,000, 10% thereafter, and GST of 5% are payable in addition to the hammer price on each lot. [all figures are in Canadian dollars].

I also understand that LEVIS executes absentee bids as a convenience for its clients and is not liable for inadvertently failing to execute bids or for any errors relating to their execution of my bids.

All bids are accepted subject to the Standard Conditions of Sales as printed in our catalogue and on the LEVIS web site.

We will contact all absentee bidders after the auction as soon as possible, giving priority to those who have purchased items. Successful bidders are advised of the total to be applied to their credit card; crating fees and shipping arrangements are discussed.

For security reasons, we ask that you DO NOT send credit card information over the Internet. Please phone or fax us your Visa/MC account number with the expiry date. If you have not dealt with LEVIS before, we may ask for credit references.

All of the information below is required to complete the Absentee Bid form - without it, we will not accept your Absentee Bid. The Absentee Bids are registered in the order in which they are received; so get your bid in early.
